Since the first day I met Lindsay, I knew she would help me change my mindset. She has helped me navigate this change with her amazing knowledge and by standing beside me through every step. I am a huge perfectionist, but she knows and preaches how life isn’t perfect and applauds you for the small victories which means SO much to me. Before joining Burn Bootcamp, I was not just a little overweight, I fell into the obese category. The weight slowly crept on. I would tell myself I was going to do a workout in the garage but get busy doing chores or helping the kids and never get to it or I would start a workout routine, but not stick with it for more than a week or two. I would start to eat healthy but then quickly fall back into old habits of choosing quick and easy over nutritionally balanced meals. Two years ago, I decided to make a change and I joined Burn Bootcamp North Raleigh. I was very nervous about not being able to keep up and not fitting in, but Lindsay assured me that Burn was for all fitness levels, and everything could be modified. At my first camp I quickly realized that my fears were unfounded. Everyone was so welcoming and supportive right from the start. Shortly after joining Burn, Lindsay posted a video on Facebook where she said, “Strong comes in all shapes and sizes” and that we should put less emphasis on trying to be a certain size or weight and more on trying to become stronger women. This has really stuck with me throughout my fitness journey and helped keep me focused and motivated even when the scale didn’t show me what I wanted to see and that’s when I really started seeing changes in myself. Lindsay is an amazing trainer who will push you out of your comfort zone in workouts to help you see just how strong you are. At Burn, I have not only enjoyed many great workouts that pushed me past what I thought I was capable of but I have also learned a lot about proper nutrition. Lindsay is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to nutrition and is very passionate about sharing her knowledge on the topic. By following Lindsay’s advice, I feel like I finally had all the pieces necessary to make long term positive changes towards building a healthier lifestyle. I am now very happy to say that I have lost about 65 pounds and am much stronger physically and mentally.

Lindsay is great at motivating and encouraging others. She will be your biggest cheerleader and assist you with obtaining your goals. She is also great at making food recommendations and swap outs to help you during your journey. Lindsay will push you hard in order to get results. She creates workouts that are at times challenging but will give you a great feeling after you have completed them. I definitely recommend her!
